About the client:

Geneva Alive is the official government body of Geneva that manages tourism for the entire city.

Their mission is to promote Geneva as an active tourist destination for both business and leisure, to welcome and inform visitors and to organize tourist events for millions of visitors every year.

Objectives

Promote and sell Geneva as a tourist, leisure and business destination;

Welcome, inform and assist tourists with any information they need; and

Support and organize tourist events within the city

Strategy:

Tasked with promoting Geneva as the top luxury leisure destination in Europe, it was key to understand the behavioral dynamics of travelers from the GCC. We researched and created detailed user personas to help us chalk out a roadmap for content creation and targeting.

Applying principles of inbound marketing, we divided the buyers journey into three stages -  Awareness, Consideration and Decision. This helped us produce the right content for the right type of audience.
